Jimin is the CEAS Project Assistant for Spring 2026. She is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in the Sociology program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research interests include inequality, work–family dynamics, and caregiving, with a particular focus on how care is understood, (de)valued, and shared across multiple actors. She is especially interested in comparative research across East Asian contexts. Jimin received her B.A. in Sociology from Yonsei University.

During her time at UW–Madison, she has also been involved in departmental and campus initiatives related to equity and care, including serving as the Student Representative for the BIPOC Recruitment and Retention Committee in the Department of Sociology, participating in the Sociology Graduate Student Association (SGSA), and engaging with the UW Ethics of Care Initiative.
