Outreach

The Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison strives to put the Wisconsin Idea into action. Every semester, CEAS hosts and sponsors a wide array of events on- and off-campus, including recurring programming such as our annual Wisconsin Sijo (WiSiJo) competition, the East Asia in Wisconsin Library Program, partnership events with the Wisconsin Book Festival (WBF), and East Asia Now, a series that spotlights relevant topics through forum discussions that help bridge the gap between East Asian current events and the state of Wisconsin.

To stay up-to-date and for more information on CEAS events and programming, visit our website’s events calendar or our Facebook event calendar. Please subscribe to This Week at CEAS (TW@CEAS) for weekly updates on our events and other opportunities.

Check out recordings of some of our past events on our YouTube channel and head to our podcast, East Asia Now, for even more content that explores connections between East Asia and the United States through interviews, discussions, and lectures.
