- Asia for Educators: An initiative from the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University that is aimed at serving educators in the fields of world history, culture, geography, art, and literature.
- Asia Society: Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders, and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context.

- Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA): This organization was created to address the needs of and serve Asian Pacific American communities. One of their offerings is an annual recognition of literature ranging from picture books to adult fiction.
- Association of Asian Studies (AAS): A non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the field of Asian Studies through international exchange, networking, publications, research support, and career development.
