Abstract
In the first event of the CEAS spring lecture series, PhD students Mollie Gossage and Steffenie Amber Widows presented their respective research projects. Gossage discussed her work on tourism in the Tibetan regions of China, which landed her in the midst of pandemic lockdowns, while Widows presented her work on crane populations, which required time in the buffer to the DMZ (demilitarized zone) between the two Koreas.
Biography
Mollie Gossage is a PhD student in the department of Anthropology at UW Madison.
Steffenie Amber Widows is a PhD Student at the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at UW Madison.
