Abstract
This webinar featured a panel of experts: Nathan Bland, Diplomat in Residence, U.S. Department of State; and
Sue Mi Terry, Director of Hyundai Motor Korea Foundation Center for Korean History and Public Policy.
The panelists discussed their respective career paths that involved East Asia. The panel was hosted by Mitchell Lerner, Professor of History and Director of the East Asian Studies Center, The Ohio State University.
This was the second event in the “Midwestern Professionalization Seminar for East Asian Studies” series for Spring 2022, a collaboration between CEAS and colleagues at The Ohio State University and Indiana University Bloomington. The series is aimed at sharing skills for advancing one’s career and introducing various career paths using East Asian language and area studies expertise.
