Biography:
Sabine Weber is a lecturer at the Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies at the University of Bonn in Germany. While her research focuses on classical Chinese fiction in general, her recent PhD project was on the reception of systematized knowledge, technology and science in the Ming and Qing Dynasty novel. Her further research interests intersect with the realms of science fiction studies and Chinese history of science.
