Abstract:
This film, organized by Christine Ahn and directed by Deann Borshay Liem, told the story of a group of women activists who in name of Peace attempted to walk across the border between North and South Korea. The film is a call to action to refocus attention on the ongoing Korean War which despite the armistice agreement does not have a peace treaty. Personal stories and a strong belief in women as peacemakers motivates the film’s activists.
