Student Programs Coordinator
Dreux supports and advises East Asian Studies undergraduate and graduate students, assisting majors, certificates, and Ph.D. minors in completing their degrees in a timely and efficient manner. He also coordinates grant competitions run through CEAS, including the FLAS and Matsudaira fellowships, and is the access point for external grants and study abroad programs related to China, Korea, and Japan.
Dreux is ABD in Chinese History from the UW-Madison and has lived and studied in Taiwan, China, and Japan. He has taught numerous courses for the History department as well East Asian Studies, and leads two study abroad programs, “China: History & Modern Development of Environmental Health” (four weeks every summer) and “Chinese Diaspora in Southeast Asia” (three weeks every Winter Break).
Dreux’soffice hours are
Monday through Friday: 9:00-10:00am, 2:00-5:00pm.
