Registration Fee: $35 for non-students and $25 for students - this includes instructional handouts, lunch and refreshments.

Meals: All registered workshop participants receive lunch, as well as morning and afternoon refreshment breaks.

10 single rooms and 10 double rooms are being held for scholarship applicants. Please fill out the relevant section on the registration form if you are interested in one of these rooms
There are also other rooms available for $109 per night. Please call them if you would like to reserve a room.
Parking: Overnight guests at the hotels will receive one parking spot per room at no additional cost. Workshop participants who are not staying on campus can park for free on Sat., October 18th, 2008 in certain lots on the UW Campus. Click here to access a map of these parking lots near Van Hise Hall

Travel and Lodging Scholarships: Limited funds to assist with travel or lodging costs are available to make the workshop more accessible to participants traveling long distances to Madison. Participants interested in receiving a travel and/or lodging scholarship should fill out the relevant section of the attached “Participant Information Form”.
Please make requests for travel and/or lodging scholarships by October 4th, 2008. Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 11th, 2008.
Special Needs: If you have any special dietary or access needs, please fill out the relevant section of the attached “Registration Form”.
TAs in UW East Asian Languages and Literatures that will be sponsored by their department should send a hard-copy registration form to Katrina Brown, or bring it to our office at 333 Ingraham Hall.
To register by mail and pay by check click here to a link that leads to a PDF of a paper registration form you can print out and fax or mail it to our office. We encourage you to fax the form to us. This way we know sooner that you want to register - space in this workshop is very limited and it will fill up quickly.
