2011 Sendai Earthquake and Tsunami
We at the Center for East Asian Studies would like to offer our sincere condolences to those who lost family and friends in the massive earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan over the weekend. We wish for the safety for all in our extended community in the aftermath of this tragedy.
How you can help with fundraising
A student here at UW-Madison, Yumi Kusunoki, is organizing a fund-raising campaign on campus to support victims of the disaster. She is presently looking for volunteers to help for after spring break. For information, please follow this link to her blog.
Japan Tsunami Relief now has a website! Click here to stay up to date with fundraising efforts across campus. Volunteers are always needed!
